      11-25-2007
I tried to to make a complete back up of my vista HP to CD and at the end it
says back up failed and gave me (0x80070005).
I have no idea what this # is ? HELP

AT

0x80070005 is the common 'access denied' error message.

When associated with a backup program, it usually indicates that there is
not enough room on the target drive/disk for the backup to complete.

Thanks for the response.
I got that message on my 3 disk ,on the first 2 it ask me to insert a new
disk.
So what do I need to do to complet the back up?

The only thing I can suggest is to check the disk to make sure it is
formatted properly or try a different disk.

You might also check the hard drive to make sure it has enough space to
create the temporary files during the back up process. Try performing a full
disk cleanup before starting the back up.

Do NOT backup to your D drive which is where the recovery files are stored.
You need to backup directly to DVD or a formatted external or internal HDD
that is NOT your D drive..

I did a disk clean up and it worked.
