I have two user accounts: business and personal. Somehow my Outlook 2007
auto-archive settings got screwed and it tried to write to my personal
archive.pst instead of the business one. Without looking too closely I
thought that's odd, the permissions are gone. I allowed myself access to
the file and ran the auto-archive again, which succeeded.
Today I've discovered why I didn't have permissions for that file - it's the
wrong one. I've copied all the items (via Outlook) into the correct file
and then removed the permissions. Just one problem. The file is Shared and
I never set this. There's also no Sharing tab in the file properties (no
matter which account I use to look at it). I'm running full virus and
spyware scans as we speak, but how do I unshare this file? Assuming no
malware is found, any ideas how this situation could have come about in the
first place?
