File Folder size

Home Premium 64bit -

Under
Windows Explorer - none of the "File Folder" type show a size in the size
column. I have the view set to Details with Name - Date Modified - Type -
Size columns. All other "Type" files seem to show a size. Maybe it was
always like this, but I thought I could see File Folder sizes in the past.
Is there a setting for this that I have missed?

Thanks,
BChat

Hello BChat

The size for Folders was removed from the "Size" column in Vist
Windows Explorer. This tutorial will show you how to see what the folde
size is in Vista instead

Hope this helps

Your welcome BChat. It's not as nice as it was in the Size column, but

I just checked WinXP and it doesn't show folder size. I fact, I don't
remember folder size ever being shown there.

XP showed and Vista STILL SHOWS folder size. Just right click,
properties, it's staring you in the face under the General tab.

It does not and never did show folder size in the right column since
the purpose of that is to show CONTENTS of the folder that's expanded.
