File Indexing in Vista

Hi Everyone,

My indexing feature doesn't work. When I open Indexing Option dialog box
all options in this box are grayed out except "Close" tab. I wanted add
additional
programs and or photos for easier finding things.

Does anybody know how to restore this feature. I have never used this
feature before
on this computer. Please help.
