File selection/deletion problem, change from XP

Try this in Explorer: Click a folder in the left pain. In the right
pain use the laso to select several files. Hit Delete. It deletes the
folder in the left pain. In XP the behavior was as expected, it would
delete the last thing selected, the lasoed files. I assume this is a
bug that should be fixed. It would be crazy to change such basic
behavior as file selection, and it is counter-intuitive and would seem
to go against standard behavior. Of course no one seems to break
standard behavior rules more the Microsoft itself. So is this a bug?
