File Share not working ove VPN SBS 2008

Hi All,

I am having a problem with file share access over VPN on SBS 2008.

The server has two NIC and one is disabled.

It currently has AD role enabled, File Services, Exchange, RRAS (only
running VPN). I have configured RRAS with a simple dial in VPN connection,
forwarded the ports through the router, and made sure GRE is allowed.

I can connect to the VPN just fine, and connect to the file shares
of other domain joined computers on the same network as the server, but when
I try browse to the server itself it times out (ie using windows explorer
browsing to \\server).

I have also check the inbound and outbound filter on RRAS and it is disabled.

Thanks in advice

Browsing to \\workstation1 works fine. The server's internal ip address is
192.168.10.1, I can ping that address over the VPN, I can ping domain.local
and it resolves the server ip address, I can ping the server name and it
resolves the IP address. I have also ensured the user account has rights to
dial in, and has permissions to browse the server. Have tried enabling the
second network adaptor and configuring the VPN connection to use that - no
different.
