File size, strange question

I have an issue with McAfee. Their QuickClean feature stops in its tracks
when trying to delete an ActiveX or Plug-in file. The _only_ information I
have re that file is its size, 1292 bytes.

When I do an Advanced Search using Size, I am forced to Search between 1 and
2 KB. I have 5000+ files on my hard drive that meet that criterion.

Is there a way to specifically search for a file using just bytes and not
KB? When I try to express the size using a decimal point ( 1.29 KB ) I am
not allowed to enter an 'non number'.

Ideas? Also, I am not alone with this McAfee problem and I would like to
learn more about this file.

Thanks, DH

Get rid of McAfee; it's rubbish.
Use AVG or Avast antivirus; they run rings around it.

Once the search is done, sort the list by size (if the size column isn't
available, add it by right clicking on the column headers) - then just scroll
down to the 1292 entries.

PS - I agree with dumping McAfee. Although it's a decent product, it's too
resource intensive and too complicated. When something goes wrong there's no
easy way to fix it.
