I am using WMDC on Vista and would like to sync the folders in my phone with
my pc. Can someone advise how to set up to do so.

Thanks,

Scott

Hi Scott,

Assuming your phone supports File Sync, you can do the following on the PC
side:

1. Connect and sync your device with the PC.
2. Open WMDC, under "Mobile Device Settings" click "Change Content Sync
Settings"
3. Select File and then click Save.

Please note that only My Documents folder on your Phone will sync with the
PC.

Hi Raj,

I would like to sync the folder on the My Storage, not on the main memory.
Why does WM sync My Documents folder on your Phone (I believe it is
referring to My Device, C:\)? Most of phones will not store the files on
the phone but the memory card due to small size of C drive.

Thanks,

Scott

Hi Scott,

Windows Mobile phones have always only synchronized with the My Documents
folder of the main memory of the phone. That has been the design. If you
want to sync with your memory card then neither ActiveSync nor WMDC will
provide you that feature. You will need to explore third party software
options like - http://www.easy-sync.info/
