file transfer problem

My OS is vista home premium. I set up 2 accounts for myself, one is the
Admin.acct, where I do all the regular work, and the other is a user acct.
where I use it mostly / mainly questions and answers, like this forum. Now I
had downloaded a few stuffs in this user account, and I want to transfer
some to my admin.acct. Someone suggested copy to cd and load it back to my
admin. acct. I am wondering if there is a less " painful " way. I do know
Copy & Paste won't work. Any ideas ?

The Public folders are accessible to all users

Click the Start orb, and type:
C:/users/public/documents

Use the \Users\Public folders ... that's what they are for.
You should be able to access files there from both accounts.

Sorry! I gave the wrong infos. What I want is : I want some files tranferred
from Admin.to user acct. I logon to my user acct. and entered
C:/users/public pictures . All I got was pictures from user acct., not from
Admin.acct. That's no good. Other idea please.

Mark, there is a misunderstanding. I do not mean just Public files. I have
pictures downloaded from wallpaper sites in my Admin.acct. I want to
transfer them to my user acct. which by the way has different password. I
have not been able to do that by your method. Maybe you show me step by step
? Thank you.

I'm not Mark and hopefully he won't mind me popping in, but I believe all
you need to do is - from whatever account the files are in - simply move or
copy them to the Public Folder. As Mark said, the Public Folder is
accessible to all users on the computer so anything you put in there from
Account A can be gotten at from Account B. The Public Folder is equivalent
to Shared Folders in Windows XP. That's all there is to it.
