File usage statistics report

Hi,

I wonder if there are tools/utils/scripts to collect and generate statistic
report for files usage on specific volume/folder, say how often the files are
used, how many files are inactive for certain days?

I don't know what version of Windows Server you have, but if you have 2003
R2 or higher you can use File Server Resource Manager (FSRM) reports.
