I keep getting this ""Copying Prohibited" message.
How do I get rid of that darn thing?
I know I can start as admin...but is there a way to just always start as
"admin"
I should know this, but I don't.
Thanks in advance,
Teresa

Hi,
I am using Win 7
The TV card in a Hauppauge PVR 150
I have another card too that I have never been able to get to recognize the
cable box...
It's a ATI 650 Pro Combo and I am about to venture into giving it another
try.
From my research, it would appear that LOTS of people are having this
problem with the PVR 150
It's not with all channels, just movie channels and such.

I am kind of a gadget geek, so I always keep my drivers up to date.
My system is a couple of years old.
It's a Dell XPS 410
I have Intel dual core 4300 @1800 GHz x2 Processor
I wish I had bought a better video card, but last year
I need a new card and I got a Nvidia GForce 9400 GT It does have 1 G Ram
I have dual Monitors
Dell 2408 WFP (Digital)
and Dell 2007 (Digital)
Lots of room on my drives.
That's about it...
I get back to you on the ATI hook up...but I don't have high hopes.
Still hoping for an answer for the (copy prohibited) message.
Which BTW I was wrong about starting in admin mode...that makes absolutely
no difference what so ever.
OK Thanks in advance, again,
Teresa

Well, that's fine, but I just want to watch....I don't even care about
recording.
(Would be nice though)

I blinks off and on and totally makes it unwatchable.
From what I have read. It's a very common problem and
even the crew over at "The Green Button" who are sharp as tacks
can't figure this one out.
So I don't know...
I think it's got everyone stumped.
But really Douglas, I appreciate you even taking the time to respond.
Now days most people don't even do that.
So really thanks for even trying.
Teresa
