I have been using Quicken for years but it will not work with Vista.
Does any one know of a replacement I can get in the UK, that works with
Vista, even better if it would import Quicken data!
Thanks

They stopped making the UK version of Quicken in 2005.

Likewise with MS Money, 2005 is the last UK version. However it works
just fine with Vista.

Quicken works fine with Vista. I use it every day.

If you have an older version of Quicken, *that* version may not work
with Vista. Just buy the new version (2008 in the US; I don't know if
version names are the same in the UK).

The last UK version of Quicken was Quicken XG 2004 when Quicken abruptly
mailed their UK customers a CD with the latest update, saying they were
pulling out of the UK. I think they got fed up with Pounds, Value Added Tax
and the difficulty of getting downloads from UK stock broking and banking
institutions. I still use that last UK version and it works faultlessly with
Vista. I don't attempt to use its online features. Doug

You might consider using a spreadsheet instead.

Moneydance is $30. Gnucash is free - I've used it for several years -
should suffice if all you're doing is simply keeping track of the
checkbook - yes it imports quicken.
