Finding correct album info problem...

Using WMP 11. I'm just wondering why WMP is having problems finding the
right album info. It really started like a month ago when I downloaded "My
Heart Will Go On," and, for some odd reason, it could NOT find ANY kind of
Titanic soundtrack... which perplexed the hell out of me. You'd think
Microsoft/WMP would know what Titanic was, as huge of a movie as it were.
But my main problem, now, is updating album info for Britney's song 3, from
her "The Singles Collection," and why it can't find anything on it, other
than her past single/albums. What gives? Any help is appreciated!

The CD database that WMP uses is far from perfect, so it's not unlikely
that certain songs cannot be found. The Britney song is pretty new, and
possibly hasn't been entered into this database yet. Give it some time
and WMP should find it eventually.

Thanks for that! But, I mean, come on now... the one for Titanic? Let's be
honest... it's been 12 freakin' years, you'd think that WMP would know what
Titanic was, or someone would've put the album info in the database by NOW!
Who do I contact in regards to this so I can give em a piece of my mind?
I've been wanting to know since I added album info. I had to use Celine's
"Let's Talk About Love" album in order to have some album info on there!

Well, you can always fill in the album information manually.

The CD database used by WMP is AMG (All Music Guide). You might find
contact information on their website: http://www.allmusic.com

Yeah this is true... but that brings up another dilemma: how can I update
album info if All Music doesn't have it? I'm a stickler for perfection (as
close as possible, as it were) and I like having correct album info with an
album cover. It still boggles me that they have NOTHING for Titanic the
soundtrack... but yet they have the Back To Titanic one, which MHWGO isn't on
that one... unless it's instrumental. I digress.

In the Media Library, right-click the field containing incorrect info
and select Edit. You can also choose Advanced Tag Editor to edit
multiple fields in one go.

The album cover can be set by copy/pasting an image to WMP, or with the
same Advanced Tag Editor (Pictures page).
