Finding People with Windows Live ID's

Is there anyway to search for people you know who have Windows Live ID's so
you can add them to your contacts a la Skype search function which checks
your Outlook contacts against the registered Skype database?

I don't know. I do know that I have not published my Windows Live, or
Passport IDs, so you shouldn't be able to find them in any online directory.
If you *know* that they have a Windows Live ID why not ask them to tell you
what their ID is?

Nope, I'm afraid such functionality was removed several versions ago (and the service it used
disabled).
