finding updates

Need to update, but when microsoft goes seeking there comes an error;
The requested webpages encounterd an error an the pages cannot be found.

Then i try the other options but they all lead to the same page: microsoft
introduction page and then the stor repeat its self????????

Help!??

Windows version? If WinXP, is SP1 or SP2 installed?

associated with the download/install.
