Firefox Crashes Constantly - even in safe mode

For the last week or so, Firefox has crashed constantly and repeatedly.
I have the newest version, I've started it in safe mode, disabled al
extensions, uninstalled all extensions, reset my toolbars, uninstalled
reinstalled it, deleted all registry references - basically, don
everything I've seen recommended, and nothing works. It crashes o
pages with flash, without flash, when I'm doing something, and when I'
doing nothing - just looking at the page. I'm completely flummoxed an
terrified of having to go back to IE. Can anyone help? BTW, when i
comes to computers, I know just enough to be dangerous . .
