firewall check status notice when computer starts

This is geting really anoying. Every time I turn my computer on a thing pops
up at the bottom of my screen telling me that I should check the status of my
firewall. I have the windows firewall turned off because I have norton
internet security and dont want two firewalls. If I click recommendations,
there is an option to click a button that says "(I have a firewall solution
that I will monitor myself)". You would think that that would fix the
problem, but every time I restart the computer it just resets that seting
anyway. I hate this stupid firewall, someone please tell me how to turn it
off perminantly. Thank you.

> anyway. I also found that if I click on (change the way security center alerts me), and turn off the alerts, they just come back on when the computer restarts also. I hate this stupid firewall, someone please tell me how to turn it
