Hi all.

I'm running Windows XP (language is Swedish) and a while ago I updated to
SP2. Since then I have had problems with the built in firewall: when I
restart the computer the firewall is not turned on, I have to do this
manually every time. I have two computers and they both have the same
problem. The firewall worked fine on both computers when I had SP1.

Is there some setting I have to change or is there any other solution or
workaround? I have thought about uninstalling and reinstalling SP2, but since
I have the same problem on both computers I'm not sure that will solve
anything...

Any answers will be grately appreciated!

Thanks
/EnkelIk

I have the same problem (on a danish xp pro). But on mine after a few

Hm. Mine seem to stay disabled, at least after like 10 minutes it is still
not enabled, and I guess that is more than the few minutes you talk about?

Maybe the service is a slow starter in your case (or low priority service or
what ever), and in my case it doesn't start at all...

using and what are you using now?

Thanks
