fix for some sp2 install probs

this helped with my sp2 install probs. steps 1,3 and 4 did the trick. good

I only saw 2 steps there. But I did the same thing. Downloaded the IT version
and installed it on my single cimputer running XP home version. I had some
problems with the creating the back-up file. It kept missing files that were
there but when I told it to skip those files, it kept on going and eventually
installed SP2 apparently without any big snafus.
