How to fix a window?

The Windows Explorer opens in a small window. I pull the window in the
correct size and position. After closing the window, I open it again and it
shows the same small window as before. Why doesn't it save the position and
size like in Windows XP?

I assume you mean Explorer and not IE, but the method is the same.
Popunders often change the size behind the scenes, because popup blockers
aren't perfect and complete and don't always stop them.

1) Manually resize the window to your liking.
2) Close the window holding down the CTRL button.

This should get them opening to your desired size for a while until the next
pop under succeeds in resizing.

Good luck,

CH

Hi Marienschatten,

You need to reset Vista's folder view settings. This link will show
you how to do it. Just scroll down to "Step Two". It will make Vista
remember again.

There are immediate solutions to your problem, but if you want
to go one step further and fix window positions and sizes of
several programs for good, use Window Demon.
