Hi Jupiter:
Very good advice. Sorry for not mentioning that too. I did however already
have a good spyware/adware detection system running on my computer, and
checked for any problems before installing the beta of the Microsoft product.
The Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta also reporting no adware/spyware when I ran it
the first time. Then I made some changes to disable some apps from being
checked and soon after got the "Runtime error C++" and "virtual memory"
errors. Nothing since I've re-enabled all the apps (which were BTW, basically
the Alexa Toolbar).
So, I don't know ... could just be coincidence or my setup, but it seemed
that fixed the problem for me. Might have been a fluke, but I just thought
I'd post in case anyone else had done a similar thing and seen a problem.
After all, the program is still in beta and there could be some issues with
it and some apps ... who knows? Just trying to help, but thanks again for
bringing up the point you did.
