How I fixed my windows update xp/sp2!!!!!!!!!!

I was unable to download windows xp/sp2 updates either manually or with
automatic updates.
Kept getting an error message, unfortunately my wife through away the error
code I had written down but I believe it was 0x800700B6.
My problem was that on my Linksys cable modem/router I had the ActiveX
filtering enabled in the security settings. Once I disabled it, I was able to
get all the updates fine. If you do not have a Linksys maybe it is a
different hardware/software program that is filtering ActiveX.
