Fixed the screen saver with the update, but it stopped working aga

Like everyone else's, my screen saver was not starting in Vista. I installed
the update "Microsoft - Other Hardware - HID Non-User Input Data Filter" and
it started working (on 5/14/08). Today, it stopped working again - out of
the blue. What needs to be done now?
