Flash of blue screen and reboots after update

I have SP2 and used automatic updates to update my system. When I installed
updates today and restarted computer, it will boot to the logo, blue bar goes
across about 4 times then goes to black screen and a few seconds later I get
a flash of the BSOD and computer reboots. I tried last known good config,
safe mode and still the same. Anything I can do short of repairing?? Don't
want to have to do this as I have windows installed on SATA WD Raptors in
Raid 0 and don't have floppy installed. Is this an issue with SATA drives as
my IDE does not have this problem.

I have this problem to. Do you know what error core you are getting ? I
posted this earlier "The system had been okay then windows downloaded a
service and it does
nothing but reboot. I reinstalled xp and things were good until updates
installed the same service pack. It does them in groups so I dont know which
one. I diabled restart on an error; and I get this message "c000021a {fatel
system error} session manager Initialization system process terminated
unexpectedly with a bus of 0xc000026c ( 0x00000000 0x00000000 ) system has
been shut down." I can not even load safe mode to do a system restore. Any
help ??

I have been able to do a repair once and the system will boot but it goes
bak to reboots when a certain service pack is installd. You can do that
though because you have to load your SATA drivers to do the repair and xp
asks for a floppy
