Flash does not work

I have the posts below and i still cant get flash to work, i have tried to
update via the links in ie7 and have also tried to update using flashutil in
the macromenia directory, everytime i update i am told that the latest
version will be available after a restart but it still wont work.

my security settings are set to default levels, can anyone please help

If you broke Flash by using the Disk Cleanup Wizard/Delete Downloaded
Program Files (not sure if this bug still exists), you have to look for the
Flash Uninstaller on the Adobe website and use that before reinstalling it.
You can also look for the full standalone Flash installer instead, on the
web and use that rather than the Adobe site webpage installer, but then you
might not get the latest version.

I am sorry to waste anyones time, but i have fixed it, for some reason under
manage addons i had flash objects diabled, so i enabled them and it all works
fine
