I have sensitive data on a password protected flash drive.

I have a WPA home network. I am the only one who has physical access to my
PCs.

Once I'm logged on to the flash drive, is the security compromised by
leaving the drive plugged in for long periods of time?

Your wireless network security protects you from unauthorized access to all
the drives on your computer including USB drives and flash cards.
