Flash Player 9?

I have been having trouble with Flash Player 9 recently. It was working
before I installed the pre SP1 Vista patch (though that same night many
patches installed so I am not certain the culprit). After that some pages
work and some don't.

Now I get an error on some pages that have Flash Player fail.

Error: Error #2134: Cannot create SharedObject.
at flash.net::SharedObject$/getLocal()
at com.msn.flashLibrary.assets::FlashCookie()
at VideoPlayer()

Any help would be appreciated.

Download and run the Adobe Flash Player uninstaller:
http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/view...nalId=tn_14157

or direct download:

Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller:
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/f...ash_player.exe

Afterward, right-click on the Internet Explorer icon located on
your Taskbar and select: Run as administrator. Then visit:
http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/downl...ShockwaveFlash

and click on "Install Now".

OK.....
I've done all this and a lot more :cry::cry:
If you wnat I've all the screenshot, I run IE as administrator, I
install Flash player, i click OK to install, I see the flash animation
and the word "Adobe Flash Player Sucessfully installed"
All perfect..... I reboot also my pc....
But if I try to see the flash files I've on my pc (Shockwave Flash
Object) they still are without the right icon and if I click I've every
time the same:
"Windows cannot open this file: to open etc etc....What do you want to
do? Use the Web to find...or Select a program from a list of installed
program?"
In the second case in the window I DON'T have flash player, in the
first case I'm driven always at the same web page With the Adobe Flash
Player install......
In my other PC with XP, the same files are opened by Macromedia Flash
Player 7.0, and they have the "F" icon from macromedia.
What I can do?
I need to see flash files because many tutorial I bought are in FLash
or quickTime.
And also with QuickTime I've problems: in Vista 64 I don't have the
timeline bar, the pause and the stop (the command line at the bottom of
the quicktime video window) but the same dvd in XP with QuickTime
installed it's regular, with all the command line........
I hope someone can help me............ I'm :sick: ....

THANKS for reading my bad english, I wait for you!!

For me too it was the same: I couldn't install the flash player.
I can install, I see the flash online, I have the instal
confirmation.... but my files on the pc still don't play. Every tim
same thing
For me the only solution was to install Flash (the whole Macromedi
program that I had but I never used).
Now I can play flash and shockwave files......
I think it's really very bad that - after more than one year - Vist
x64 has still so big problem!
