I had this problem on 32-bit XP and 32-bit Windows Server 2003. The solution
was to download the Flash plug-in uninstaller from the adobe site, run it,
and then let the browser reinstall the current version. I suggest that it
might work on Vista as well, but I don't know about 64-bit.
