I can't get my flashdrive to work in my computer at home, but it will work in
other computers. I was told there might m e something I can download to make
this work. How do I do that?

This is not a Windows Update problem.

Please post to a newsgroup for your operating system (which you forgot
to mention). Some operating systems will not use a flashdrive, some
require drivers from the manufacturer's site.
