flickering screen on start up

On my brand new laptop, whenever I start up the computer, once it gets to
the screen with the icons on it, it blacks out and then comes back on.
Please help me. Is this normal? Is it going to crash? Thank you so much

Hi,

It happens with some display driver models. Try updating if one is available
from the manufacturer. Generally, this is annoying but harmless and occurs
only when the display has to reinitialize.
