I am trying to reinstall Fluke Network Inspector V5.x on a Vista Notebook.

1. Is it doable?
2. How can I have FNI recognize the Network Interface Adapter in Dell
Vostro Notebook?

Thanks.

Check at FlukeNetwork Manufacturer's website to see if it is vista compatible.

The app is only certified to work with up to Windows ME, however I have been
successful in launching the app just fine using windows XP. Unfortunately
Fluke Networks does not provide any additionla support for the app.

Any additional suggestions would be welcome. Unfortunately two things are
happenning.

1. Fluke Network Inspector does not want to recognize the NIC on Dell
Vostro 1700 notebook

2. During installation the APP needs to install SQL 2000 engine, however
even installing with Administrative previledges and making the executables
compatible (setting compatibilty mode to XP SP2) this option does not install
the engine.

Any suggestions?????????
