fn key does not work

i am running the vista home premium edition and for some reason my fn key
does not work to eject disc,volume indicator or battery level nothing what
can i do to make my fn key work?

Is this a notebook or desktop keyboard? If its a notebook its best you
contact the manufacturers support about it. If its a desktop keyboard, its
probably defective and you should return it for a refund or in exchange for
another keyboard.
