Hello,

I am using a Dell Studio 1555.

I am new to using laptops and have just discovered the Fn key options.
However I do not need to press Fn + F (insert any number) to perform
these actions. But instead I need to hold Fn + F (insert any number e.g.
4 to make a window close).

Basically it is the opposite way round to what it should be. I should
be holding Fn to perform laptop functions not to perform Windows
functions.

How do I fix this please?

Thanks in advance!

Dave.

Look in the upper right hand corner of your key board. I own this same model
from Dell. Good Luck.

I used an external KB and tried turning num lock and scroll lock off and
on etc, but nothing changed.

Problem still hasn't been fixed.
