Folder Properties 'general' tab missing.

Whenever i go to the folder properties my general tab is missing, the
first tab i see is sharing (see photo). I have googled for this but can
find no answer, I have Windows Vista Home Premium N 32 bit with Sp1

Yeah i have the same problem here.
I was installing system from scratch because of this problem and i
appeared again just after update to SP1

I tried to register browseui.dll in cmd, but it throws an error

Ill be thankfull for any answer

I have the exact same problem. I tried to google for it, but can't find a
solution. For me it's a big problem, have you guys solved this issue yet?

Yesterday I reinstalled whole windows. Updates were installed durin
installation

I think this problem was caused by language change. My Vista is b
default "en-US" and i tried to make it work as "pl-PL". It did, but i
downloaded wrong updates i think

Home premium does not support this, and according to its license, suc
change is forbidden

Now i dont have any problems at all, and every day im checking i
everything's okay. We'll see

If ure having this problem, u will probably have several others, lik
disappearing tray, hanging desktop etc

I haven't experienced any other problems with my vista home basic edition
than this issue. If there isn't any other option to solve this than to
reinstall Vista, then i'm considering a switch to Ubuntu.
