Client: Windows Vista SP1
Server: Windows Server 2003

After configuring Folder Redirection via GPO, I noticed that my workstation
now has 2 "Documents" shortcuts. (this also happened with the other
music/favorites/videos... shortcuts)
1 points to the new location, the other to the original location.
I don't want to see 2 shortcuts.. I only want the one pointing to the new
location.

thanks!

Same problem here - and the folder "xyz" which was supposed to contain
Documents folder has been renamed to "Documents" instead of being
subordinated to "xyz" - giving two "documents" folders. I am interested in a
solution to this too - Vista really does want to shoehorn us into it's way of
organizing our data

I got it to work somewhat by creating a new GPO off of a VISTA machine
(instaed of using GPMC on the 2003 server) AND told it to move the contents
of the Documents folder with it... This seems to work better. I think one of
the reasons why the original Documents folder isn't dissapearing is that it's
not empty (or it thinks it's not empty).

My problem now is that I'm trying to do this via Scriptlogic -Destkop
Authority instead of via GPO. DA seems to have the same problem as I had
before I was using the VISTA GPO's...

I'm in contact with ScriptLogic now....
