folder redirector

hello guys, i'm looking for a program for vista that will do a folder or
file redirect from workstation to server. I tried backing up my
workstation to my server at home and it will take 7 hrs, when I backup
on the same workstation it's done in about 1 hr. I want to find a
program that will take my backup file on my C drive and trans to the
server backup drive.

If you are looking for a sync tool, one that will automatically sync the
backup folder on your workstation with the server, just do a Google search
for synchronization software. Microsoft makes a sync tool that is free but
it is a manual tool.

If you are talking about SyncToy, you can schedule it to run via Task
Scheduler...I was doing that for a while as a backup, until I got Acronis.

I am talking about syncToy and I forgot about that, If he can get it to run
through task scheduler, that should handle this for him.
