That is a popup box thing that tells you what's in the folder (file size
etc) - just move the mouse over your folder/s and it will pop-up momentarily
and remain on until you take the mouse off.

All it's doing is giving information about the folder.

Or do you mean the blue bar at the foot of the window? That can be turned
on, by going to "Organise" button on the toolbar, select "Layout" and
select "Details" to turn on the Details pane as seen at the foot of the
screen (in your screenshot link)

Otherwise, I'm not sure what exactly you're asking and if that's not want
you mean, can you explain further? The screenshot is somewhat helpful, but
your question asking about what you want to see on the screen is not
altogether complete or specific.

In that case, I think you need to change the "view" (as in appearance and
how the files are listed) of the folder. Click "Views" on the tool bar,
then use the "Details" option; quicker way is to right click within that
window, and choose "Details" from the context menu - which changes the file
list to the small icons (rather than the large/extra large icons, I have
done this and have made it match the example in the screenshot you provided.

If the above instruction still doesn't give you what you're after, post back
and maybe some other members can help out.

sorry Mr. Andrew, did not see your post

let me redo the what i am asking

Example 1: This is how my status bar looks like at this momen
highlighted by the red circle and "this spot."[image
http://s275.photobucket.com/albums/j...o/example1.jpg

Example 2: I wish to change the status bar back to this exampl
(photoshoped rework of the status bar)

[image: http://s275.photobucket.com/albums/j...o/example2.jpg

When i first went to that 2nd example, by going right click it gave yo
an option to make it medium sized or small versions for the status bar
this small version is what i currently have from example 1 picture

I've tried to right-click right on the status bar to reverse the ba
back to normal state but it doesn't let me, anyway to restore it back t
the way example 2 is displayed? I'd appreciate any help and thank yo
Mr. Andrew for trying to help

OK........

To change from "example 1" picture TO example 2" picture (sorry to repeat
what I've already said, but this procedure works for me)

Go to the "Organize" button (left most on the green tool bar above the words
"Favourite Links" (example 1 picture)

Next, click the arrow to expand the "Organize" menu.

Middle of the menu is an option called "Layout". Mouse over this, and a
fly-out menu will come up

Choose "Details Pane".

This should then display the blue bar at the bottom as per your example 2
picture.

If this is not working for you, I'm out of ideas ......the method I
described, returns the window to the way you've described - on my system.

Would be interested to hear any other suggestions from others.
