I'm having a little trouble with doing windows updates on this
machine.
I have tried everything suggested. The updates will download but
always fail.
However this system did have over 300 different types of malware, but
I have removed these using MS Antispyware and Norton Antivirus 2004. I
even got SP2 installed from a CD.
But I still keep getting:
"The following updates failed to be installed successfully:
816093: Security Update Microsoft Virtual Machine (Microsoft VM)
Microsoft GDI+ Detection Tool (KB873374)"
And NO ERROR MESSAGES, and nothing in the logs.
Any suggestions?
