Font is Extremely Small in AOL, Norton, ZA, and Others! Please HELP!

Hello Everyone!

I just got a new computer with Vista and now many of my programs have
extremely small font when in use. This was never a problem with XP. I
tried changing the appearance settings in Display to the larger
setting but it doesn't help specific programs like AOL, Norton
Anti-virus, or Zone Alarm Pro; all it does is make my desktop seem
extremely LARGE. I can't even read the text at all in most programs.
If anyone knows of any possible fix for this problem it is GREATLY
appreciated!

If you have a new computer preinstalled with Windows Vista,
then contact the computer manufacturer's support team for
troubleshooting assistance.
