Fonts change after updates

Today I went to microsoft.com and did an update. It said there were only
two, one for explorer 7 and I forget the other. I only ran the update for
the other one and now several of my fonts in word and excel are different or
missing. Anyone knnow what I can do?

The update I did is called Security Update for CAPICOM (KB931906)

Windows version?

MS Word (or Office) version?

If you uninstall 931906 via Add/Remove Programs, do the problems persist?

Windows XP, Microsoft office 2000 professional.
I did the uninstall and the problem remians. Is there some sort of restore
function? I don't know. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
