Force a full redetection/reinstall

I've run into a bizarre situation. I have a Windows 2003 server
running SP1. Sometime in March, it appears as though updates have
stopped installing properly. If I use the "Microsoft Update" website
and use the "Review your Update History" link, the site indicates that
all updates are installed properly. KB907747 dated 5.11 (the latest
Exchange IME filter) for example is listed as installed....according to
Microsoft Update.

When I go to "Add/Remove Programs" and check the Exchange updates
though, the latest IME filter listed there is dated 03.09, so the 05.11
update is either not installed, or not listed properly in the registry.

This is just one example, and the easiest to point out since it is
frequently updated and date stamped, but there are also several
exchange, win2k3, and MS SQL updates that are not appearing in
add/remove programs, so I am concerned about the security of my box at
this time...but I have found no way to force a "real" detection for
these updates nor can I explain why they aren't showing up as updates
in add/remove programs.

Thoughts or ideas?

-Cliff
