Forefront 2010 & Sharepoint

I read that Forefront Protection 2010 for Exchange Server can be installed on
SBS 2008 but it will break Sharepoint. I installed it anyway and I had
problems with SBS Console not working correctly and of course Sharepoint
didn't work anymore. I decided to uninstall Forefront because of these
problems and also because it was a memory hog.
I've uninstalled Forefront & tried to reinstall Sharepoint but it fails to
install. I only get a message during the setup that it has encountered an
error. I can't find any logs to point to the problem. Sharepoint does not
appear as a choice in the Programs & Features/Uninstall a program.
Anyone else had this problem?
