Forefront Client Security on SBS 2008

I have read that Forefront Client Security can be used for file system
protection of SBS 2008 with a limitation that it needs to be managed
from a 32 bit Windows environment.

We have FCS as a part of our MAPS subscription so I am looking at it
to replace our about to expire and 'living dead' Live Onecare install
on SBS 2008. Is anyone here using FCS on SBS? Does it work? Any
gotchas you'd like to share?

Cheers
Simon

Further investigation seems to indicate that FCS can be installed in a
"client only" configuration, which is attractive as the fully managed
setup would be overkill in our environment. Would a "client only"
install work for SBS 2008?

That is not really true:
As a management Server only on 32Bit OS, ok.
as a FCS-Client supported also on 64Bit w08
see:
http://blogs.technet.com/forefront/a...r-2008-r2.aspx
and scroll down to 'Client Computer':
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l.../bb404245.aspx

Because SBS08 is not excluded like as a FCS-Management Server before
the SBS08 must be supported.
