Is there any way of deleting the foreign language line/s from the bottom of
the movie playing on the screen?
Thanks for your help.

Do you mean you are watching a movie with subtitles ?
If so just go to the DVD Title menu and select not to show them
If you are watching some pirated movie or something you downloaded from a
legitimate site and it is just a file then you are stuck with whatever the
file is.

If it's a DVD movie that you are watching then disable subtitles in th
main menu

If it's a videoclip then the subtitles may be in separate file (.srt o
.sub) or part of the movie frames ("embedded" in the videoclip file)
The separate file can be deleted; alternatively, disable subtitles i
your media player. If the subtitles are embedded in the movie frame
then there is no way to disable them
