Get the drivers from those who manufactured the hardware - not Microsoft
Windows Update. Install them.
Do not get non-Microsoft drivers from Microsoft. Get non-Microsoft drivers
from those who actually made the product. You have better luck that way.
(Usually the drivers you get from Microsoft are the ones the company that
manufactured said hardware gave to Microsoft and paid to have certified and
placed there. This process does not seem to be a fast one - so the drivers
you get from there are usually weeks/months/years old. The manufacturer
usually has released several more revisions on said driver since then.
And the Windows Update site does not save anything for you to use later.
