Framework that finally worked for me!

Like far too many people I couldn't the stupid update to not fail.... but I
finally got around it.

1. UNINSTALL New Framework hotfix KB9904. If it is not visible click on the
show updates. If it is not there then this probably won't help you.
2. I then ran NDP1.1sp1-KB867460-X86.exe whcih is Framework sp1

3. THEN I let the Update Wizard install KB8886903 and finally success.

Don't know if step 2 was needed, but it worked for me. Of course I can't
guarantee this will work for everyone.
