freecell not working?

ok, so i recently began playing freecell on my windows vista computer....maybe a month ago? i LOVE IT! one of the games i played, i stopped in the middle and quit. i saved the game, so i could continue next time. now, EVERY time i open freecell, that same game pops up, at the same point in the middle! i get tired of playing the game over and over, so i have to start a new game, which counts as a loss in my stats. it gets so annoying! i've tried everything, is there any way to fix this?
