FREEING UP HARD DRIVE SPACE

Would somone please tell me how to free up hard drive
space properly? I keep trying to download MS Service Pack
2, but my computer continues to tell me I need to free up
hard drive space. When I look at "My Computer", it
indicates that I have enough hard drive space to install
it. I don't understand what I am doing wrong. Thanks
much.

Go to Start/Control Panel/Performance and Maintenance Look at the two items
there "Free up space...etc" and "Rearrange items....etc" Do those first.

that you need at least 2gb of free HDD space. After installing SP2 do the
clean up disc things again.

You have to free space in the drive in which your windows is installed. not
the other drives. may be at least 200mb something.
