Frontpage and Vista

Will Frontpage 2003 work on my new computer with Vista operating system?
Just wanted to check before I load it. Thanks.

FrontPage 2000 and FrontPage 2003 work perfectly on my Vista 32-bit Business
and 64-bit Ultimate.

Your mileage may differ, I suppose, but . . .

“Insert Hyperlink� does not work in FP2003 under Vista. FP2003 will crash
when you attempt it. You will have to code links manually. Also, FP2003
spell check stopped working. Everything else works OK.

My problem is that I want to re-install my FrontPage 2000 on a new laptop
running Vista. The problem is that my FrontPage is an upgrade from FrontPage
98; and FrontPage 98 does not install on Vista. Any idea how I can install an
Upgrade of FrontPage 2000 on Vista when I cannot install FrontPage 98 to
begin with?

Nonny, is it the case that FrontPage 2000 cannot do a shiny media check?

I was successful installing an upgrade version by placing the Front Page
98 - 3.5" disk in the A Drive and the Front Page 2000 upgrade CD in the CD
drive. I had to edit the shortcut on the desktop to run in Compatibility
mode with Vista for the "FP 2000" program to run correctly.

I've not shown any signs of Alzheimer's yet, but when I upgraded from
98 to 2000, and then from 2000 to 2003, it needed to find the
qualifying product installed on my system.

Same thing happened when I went to install 2003 on my notebook: had to
install the qualifying product first.
