I wouldn't call it a replacement, but Sharepoint Designer is a free
download from MS and includes many more features than FrontPage Express.

I find the Sharepoint HTML editor itself very useful.

I have complete office2010 which includes Frontpage replacement - it is now
called "SHAREPOINT"

Frontpage is now called Sharepoint
Office2010 I've yet to test in a few days upto a week
But I have Office2007 which contains the same which"ve been using for 3
years, so it's tested.

Read more carefully. It is not Front Page that is being discussed but Front Page
Express (FPE)

Sharepoint Designer is a BIG improvement over FrontPage and an even even
bigger improvement over FrontPage Express.

It is also a much larger program than either with many more features.

I still have FrontPage 2002 installed on my XP machine, but I've found
Sharepoint Designer much easier to use.

FrontPage is NOT called SharePoint. Catch up on your reading, HoopleHead.

You gotta be pretty darn knowledgeable -- this is a text editor.
Although it has a lot of features, it is not a replacement for a
graphics web page creation program.
